This is the 2.0 edition which improves upon the Original GrowPole.

What’s different from the Standard sized GrowPoles?

The GrowPole 2.0 Large edition uses PET clear plastic 25% thicker than the Standard Pro.

It is significantly more rigid than even the standard sized poles, suitable for larger specimens such as Philodendron Billietiae, Golden Dragon, Maximum, Melanochrysum, Gigas, Jose Buono; Monstera Deliciosa, Borsigiana, Esqueleto and so on.

It costs more to make than PP as PET needs to be cut through 100% of its thickness to yield a clean edge. The metal die wears much faster than when cutting polypropylene which will cut through at 70% depth.

However the extra rigidity of PET is required for larger specimens.

What is new?

1) The holes are elongated from a square to a rectangle. This improves the ability to remove plants from the pole for propagation purposes.

2) The bottom of the pole now feature anchors to prevent the pole from leaning toward the plants

3) The anchor act as clip locks for extensions. When clipped, the front mesh is neatly aligned between the poles.

4) It is shorter. Going from 59.5cm to 40/50cm tall means less need to trim the poles to fit and it ships better too.

The product is extendable and also trimmable to size to accommodate a large variety of plants.
